When restaurant reviews use words like "thru the roof" and multiple exclamation points, it's definitely time to give that one a try. San Juan Cafe has all that and more. Diners rave about the Mojitos, guacamole, and the flavorful menu. Featuring Cuban, Latin American and vegetarian dishes created by Puerto Rican native and owner Danny Keegan, the intimate restaurant is also a favorite local hangout for after work. A quick check of social media reviews will confirm San Juan's large following of satisfied customers.
After you enjoy their food, how about learning to cook it? The first Saturday of each month San Juan offers cooking classes for up to 10 lucky people. Cost is $35 a person or $60 a couple which includes a complimentary beverage, and you get to eat what you cook. The first to sign up can select what item off of San Juan’s menu they want to learn to prepare. Private classes can be arranged for up to 10 people as well.
