Riverfest
(910) 452-6862
Water Street, Downtown
Wilmington, NC 28402
October 1 - 3, 2021 (2020 Event cancelled due to Covid) Riverfest is a wonderful family celebration of the area's local heritage. Created in 1979 by a group of Wilmingtonians showcasing the Cape Fear River, Riverfest is a cultural street festival that entices locals and tourists alike to Wilmington's historic downtown. Boasting craft vendors, concession booths, a children's play area, stage entertainment, Saturday night fireworks, and more. Events are free and open to the public.
Riverfest boasts craft vendors, concessions booths, a children’s play area, entertainment on various stages, Saturday night fireworks, a rowing regatta, and more. This year, we will also be debuting the First Annual Miss Riverfest. One well-deserving young lady will be crowned and perform hostess duties throughout the festival.
