Zipline through the woods, ascend floating spiral stairways to treehouse platforms and cross Carver's Falls on a suspension bridge on what USA Today says is one of 10 Great Ziplines: Zipquest - Waterfall and Treetop Adventure in Fayetteville, N.C. The adventure begins with an orientation of zipline basics, and then it is off to the course which is located on 55 acres of pristine forest. The 2 1/2-hour course features 16 tree platforms, eight ziplines, three canopy sky bridges and four spiral staircases in the canopy, all led by trained and knowledgeable canopy guides. Group tours are also available. Fayetteville is about two hours from the Wilmington area, so a day trip is easily in the cards.
