At this large marine center you'll find various marine-oriented services including a 100-slip enclosed basin marina with transient slips and a yacht service operation with a 75-ton mobile lift and 400-ton railway. The marine center is home to a ship chandler with all nautical charts, metal fabricators, boat builders, dock manufacturers, and gasoline and diesel mechanics. Wilmington Marine Center has been recognized with the "Clean Marina" designation by the state of North Carolina. The facility is located at marker 59 on the Cape Fear River between Snows Cut and historic downtown Wilmington.
