Sasha the white tiger and Simba the lion are just two of the exotic animals that will delight kids of all ages at Tregembo Animal Park. Other inhabitants include a bear named Ben, a giraffe, zebra, ring-tailed lemurs, a black leopard, an African crowned crane, and monkeys. The animals are tended by the Tregembo family which has tended the popular spot for more than sixty years. Kids will have a great time exploring the park, feeding the ducks and goats and watching the amusing antics of the monkeys.
Don't miss their new 2,500 sq. ft. exhibit of reptiles and amphibians. This exhibit includes interesting creatures from around the globe like Tentacled Snakes (Asia), Mata Mata turtle (straight from the Amazon), and an albino turtle.
Tregembo Animal Park is a fun place to spend an afternoon with kids. Their large gift shop is filled with educational animal-related toys, T-shirts, plush items and nautical souvenirs. Tregembo Animal Park is open from 10 AM to 5 PM daily in summer. It is open weekends-only in the fall and is closed during the winter season. Call for admission prices. Group rates are available for school groups, but call in advance.
