Non-Profit vocational program for low-income, at-risk or disadvantaged students. Our after-school program teaches woodworking, life, and entrepreneurial skills to teens 13-18. Our Apprentice and Skill Trades programs offer older teens and young adults pathways toward success and self-sufficiency. We also offer introductory woodworking classes to younger kids 7+ several times throughout the year, as well as Build a Project opportunities with partner youth organizations and at area events. Our classes are led by staff and volunteers who provide mentoring while teaching students valuable skills that will last a lifetime. Our students are able to keep or sell items they make. We have a retail space at 617 Castle Street in Wilmington where we sell our student’s projects. Students are able to earn profits from any of the items they make and sell.
