In the summer months, the City of Wilmington Community Centers sponsors basketball for kids ages 7 to 14, divided into appropriate age groups. The center offers Tae Kwan Do for kids as young as six, all the way up to adults. Other activities include field trips and games as well as a soccer league. The center also offers computer classes and GED classes. During the school year, the center is open Monday through Friday for after-school homework time and games.
