Sweet & Savory Cafe and Bake Shop

Wilmington, NC 28403

Known for years as a fabulous bakery, Sweet and Savory has expanded to a spacious restaurant with full service bar and it's famous wholesale and retail bakery. Located off of Eastwood Road before the drawbridge to Wrightsville Beach, it is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. The casual dining experience is favored by locals, UNCW students and tourists. A new patio/covered deck overlooking the beautiful garden and fountain is a popular spot for dining and for listening to live music nightly. It comes as no surprise that the lunch menu includes sandwiches on a large variety of homemade breads and the dinner menu includes warm dinner rolls. Sweet and Savory offers daily board specials at lunch that include fresh fish sandwiches, quiches, soups (chilled soups are offered in summer), entree salads, burgers, melts and much more. The breakfast menu is extensive with specialty sandwiches, omelets and other early morning delights. Vegetarian sandwiches and healthy, low-fat or low-carb selections are included on the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The dinner menu offers a wide selection of delectable entrees from the land or the sea. Shrimp and grits, prime rib, pot roast and the seafood medley are some local favorites. Plan to order dessert or take home an assortment of tarts and other specialties from the bakery. Catering is available for any size party. Starting the day at 7 AM every day except Saturday and Sunday when it opens at 7:30 AM, this spot is open until 9:30 PM Sunday through Thursday and 10 PM Friday and Saturday.
