The Wilmington Academy of Arts and Sciences (WAAS) offers a challenging curriculum with significant enrichment and individualized attention for academically motivated and gifted students in grades 4 through 8. Faculty members have high expectations for their students as they promote academic achievement, personal responsibility, social development and lifelong learning. A traditional core of subjects along with Spanish, music and art are taught at all grade levels. A variety of academic and athletic extra-curricular activities are offered. Weekly tours are available by appointment.
