Friends School of Wilmington is a warm, nurturing, educational community that prepares independent thinkers for a global, knowledge-based future. The school has two campuses spanning ages 18 months through 8th grade. Preschool is an established Montessori program, and the elementary school builds on this developmental approach to learning. The teacher-pupil ratio is quite low (1:12). A very active Parent/Teacher Organization and a high rate of family involvement help build community and keep tuition low. The pre/elementary school is located in a 6,000-square-foot building at 207 Pine Grove Drive next to Winter Park Elementary School's playground. The middle school is located on a 5-acre campus at 350 Peiffer Avenue off Oleander Drive near Greenville Loop Road.
