The YWCA Lower Cape Fear offers pool programs, after school and summer camp as well as the Tot Spot Preschool and Kindergarten all year long. La-Petite Dance is offered during he fall and spring.
Learning to swim builds confidence and self-esteem, and the YWCA Lower Cape Fear has been taching people to swim for more than thirty years. Whether it's your first swim lesson or you're training for a triathlon, they can help. The YWCA aquatics program teaches people to be safe in the pool as well as the skills needed to swim. Children and adults can develop lifelong lessons for a healthy mind and body through swin lessons that include parent-child classes, preschool classes, youth and adult group classes and private lessons. In addition to swim lessons, the Y offers water aerobics, lifeguard training, the Barracuda Swim Team, the YDub Tri-Club and pool party rentals.
