Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity
(910) 762-4744
Joann Carter Harrelson Center
20 N. Fourth St., Suite 200
Wilmington, NC 28401
Founded in 1987, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity serves New Hanover and Pender Counties by building affordable homes for qualified families to purchase. To date, more than 140 homes have been built, making home ownership a reality for many families who might not have been able to own a home otherwise. Volunteers are an essential part of this effort and aid the overall organization by working at both ReStore locations, serving on a committee, providing lunches for our construction volunteers, or by providing on-site construction labor. If you're 14 or older and want to help improve your community, Habitat is a great place to begin.
