The goal of the Cape Fear Volunteer Center is to recruit, train and mobilize volunteers in the Wilmington community. The organization also looks to strengthen existing volunteer services within other entities such as churches and civic groups. Aiding numerous nonprofit organizations, the volunteer center is a great resource for those looking to give something back to their community. Additional programming includes Big Buddy, Kids Voting, Reach the Beach (home repair), Port City Social Club, Women's Empowerment, Azalea Festival Children's Tea and more. One-on-one matching for individuals and Corporate Volunteer programs are available.
