Children and adults from New Hanover and surrounding counties who have physical and/or other developmental delays can be referred by a parent, physician or community agency to Easter Seals UCP Program. For adults with a disability diagnosis who desire to work or volunteer in their community, the organization offers personal care, respite for caregivers and Supported Employment Services, including training and one-on-one job development skills.  Services for children and families may include intensive in-home  mental health services, early childhood intervention, or preschool programs. UCP Early Childhood outreach services are available in a nine licensed centers across North Carolina.  The centers serve children from birth to 5 years of age who have cerebral palsy, motor delays or other developmental concerns.
