The Bento Box Sushi Bar and Asian Kitchen, located in what is now a premier dining destination at The Forum Shops, strives to offer sustainable, high quality seafood and sushi. Owner and chef Lee Grossman strives to provide the same dining experience he provided as executive chef at the Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Chef Lee chose Wilmington with his family to find a more balanced lifestyle. He guarantees the integrity of his fish by sourcing it locally as well as through international vendors of the Clean Fish Alliance which promote environmentally responsible and sustainable fishing around the world. With traditional and contemporary choices, diners will find themselves awash in a sea of delicacies from the cutting board of Chef Lee. The kitchen continues to refine the menu, taking patrons on a culinary trip across China, Thailand, Vietman, Japan and Korea. Their extensive wine, saki and beer list includes beverages from those countries and others. Dine in the sushi bar, in the lounge or enjoy your meal in the enclosed patio, featuring a zen garden, where you can enjoy live music during summer months, when weather permits. The Bento Box is open Monday through Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 9 PM and Thursday and Friday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM, and open on Saturdays from 5 to 10 PM. Closed on Sundays. Reservations are available for private parties.
