March 27 - 28, 2021 Historic Poplar Grove Plantation in Scott's Hill, NC welcomes the start of spring with its popular Herb & Garden Fair, the largest and longest running garden event in the area, where a fabulous selection of annuals, herbs, perennials, garden and nature art, herbal products, hanging baskets, vegetable plants, shrubs and trees, North Carolina wine, goat cheese and local crafts are available to purchase. Snacks and lunch foods are sold throughout the day. The fair is ideal for gathering information and inspiration on topics like vegetable gardening, herbs, cooking, composting, flower arranging and birds. There is a $5 admission fee to the Herb & Garden Fair which supports Poplar Grove, a non-profit public charity that strives to give back to the area through conservation, education, and preservation. Children 12 and under are free. The fair runs 9 AM - 5 PM on Saturday, and 10 AM - 4 PM on Sunday.
