Coastal Pop Warner Bengals Football & Cheerleading has 28 Tackle teams, 12 Flag teams and 32 Cheer squads for boys and girls ages 5-15. Coastal Pop Warner Bengals do not hold try outs. Registration to join one of the teams or cheer squads is on a first come, first serve basis. Pop Warner mandatory play rule ensures each child participates in every game. Registration ranges from $60 to $100. Orientation is in July at Cape Fear Optimist Fields. Conditioning and practice starts in August at Cape Fear Optimist Fields located at Kerr Avenue and Blue Clay Road (back fields). For schedule and team information visit their website.
