Blue Clay Bike Park is an off-road trail system for mountain bikers as well as runners and walkers. These trails were built by members of the Cape Fear Cyclists Bicycle Club with permission from New Hanover County Parks and Recreation Department. The challenging six-mile trail is located on Juvenile Center Drive just west of the Blue Clay Road and North College Road intersection in the northern section of the county. Riders younger than 13 years old must have adult supervision, and riders 13 to 17 years old must carry emergency contact information. Helmets are required for everyone, and the trail is closed when conditions are wet.
